Seabourn Encore is as strikingly beautiful and as excitingly innovative as any Seabourn has debuted. She represents another welcome stage in the evolution of small ship cruising, which Seabourn pioneered and has consistently expanded and enriched for all of our small ship cruises.
Seabourn Odyssey was designed by the same architectural team, Petr Yran and Bjorn Storbraaten, who designed the original Seabourn ships. On the occasion of her maiden voyage, all the guests were honored as the ship's godparents, and a plaque with their names was permanently mounted on a wall inside the ship.
Seabourn Ovation represents another welcome stage in the evolution of small-ship cruising, which Seabourn pioneered and has consistently expanded and enriched. She will deliver a wealth of new concepts, a fresh vision and a host of illuminating ideas to delight the world's most discerning travelers.
Construction for Seabourn Pursuit began in fall 2020 during a ceremony in San Giorgo di Nogare, Italy, and the build process is well underway. Seabourn Pursuit is the second Seabourn expedition ship slated to launch in 2023.
Seabourn Quest is the third iteration of the vessel design that has been called "a game changer for the luxury segment." Seabourn Quest offers a variety of dining options to suit every taste and every mood, with never an extra charge.
Seabourn Sojourn enchants her guests with an array of public areas scaled to encourage a relaxed sociability. One of the most unusual features of Seabourn Sojourn and her sisters is the Seabourn Square, an ingenious "living room" that replaces the traditional cruise ship lobby.
Seabourn Venture launched July 2022. Purpose built and designed for diverse environments to PC6 Polar Class standards. A new and exciting offering will be two custom-built submarines carried onboard, providing an unforgettable view of the world beneath the ocean’s surface.

Our trip was the best of the best top of the line all the way. The airline flights, transfers from the airports to the hotels, excellent hotel accommodations, transfers from hotels to and from the ship where top of the line. Ship accommodations excellent as well. One of our City Attorney's who we work with wants Julie's contact information after we discussed out trip with him. He is Lonnie Groot City Attorney for the City of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida.

Nothing Like What We Expected

We've sailed on all the Seabourn ships, from Pride to (now) Encore, with the Odyssey class Sisters in between. We expected to not like the larger Encore, but, honestly, it felt less crowded than the Odyssey-class ships. Very deluxe, much more sophisticated in every regard, with vastly improved food and restaurant venues. The new Thomas Keller Grill is world class, as is the new Sushi Restaurant. Colonnade and Patio Grill offerings are even better.
The Retreat with its private cabana set up is very very nice, with even more attentive service - a hard thing to imagine-- than you get by the pool.
Shore Excursions continue to slightly disappoint. Really don't like the lack of discipline re. tour departures. If people can manage to show up 15 minutes past the scheduled departure time, they should be left behind. Many of the excursions still aren't Seabourn-class...in terms of content/execution, they could be Carnival excursions.
The spa has been reborn: now first rate.

This was our 4th sailing with Seabourn, although the first in 10 years. We were excited to be travelling on the new Encore. It seems that the line hasn't made the transition to the larger ship as well as it might have. Fortunately the new self-service laundry was operational just before we boarded, it's always a necessity. The set up of staff at the "help desks" in the Square is unsatisfactory. The food was excellent and the staff were good. Our Penthouse cabin was generous in size but stupidly had 7 internal doors which was weird. The dressing room hanging was generous, but the drawer situation was all over the cabin.After spending 18 days in the western Mediterranean we decided that Seabourn won't be on our agenda again.

A luxurious ride with all amenities included. Stateroom was very roomy and bedding was fabulous. The crew were very friendly and knowledgeable and able to manage any request. Food and dining choices were outstanding. Passenger comfort and safety were obvious high points of our experience.

Another Great Seabourn Cruise, But A Few Areas of Improvement Needed

We very much enjoyed our recent cruise on the Encore and as much as our former cruise on Seabourn's Quest. Encore is newer with an updated design and there have been some personal convenience changes (i.e. multiple dual US & European outlets, 40" TV with better in-suite entertainment selection, a larger modern passenger laundry, etc.) which are positive additions.
However, we would rate there overall level of service we received on Encore to be not at the same superior level we previously experienced on Quest. For example, breakfast service in the Colonade Dining Room was regularly slow and follow-up inconsistent. Many staff members spent more attention chatting with peers rather than looking for opportunities to better serve passengers. Seabourn level service was always present in The Thomas Keller, Restaurant and Poolside dining areas.
Aside from the Cruise Director, we also found the Officers, while polite, not particularly outgoing or welcoming.

Overall the ship is fine with a few minor exceptions. The main problem is service in the dining room and Grill. Others who like spending 2 1/2-3 hours at dinner every night will have no problems. Being solo, sitting and staring at people for hours is not fun. Sorry, but it does not take 25 minutes to dish up a bowl of soup.
So, I ate at the Patio and Sushi Restaurants where the service and food were excellent. Food items at the Grill are terrible and very limited. Finally found a steak that was repeatedly good.
I do not like, do not want, and am unwilling to pay for verandah staterooms especially at 175%

I love sailing with Seabourn but prefer the smaller ships. The Encore has lots of facilities but so has the smaller ships but without quite so many people and with a bit more personal service. My room was beautiful though and I really enjoyed the new Thomas Keller restaurant for a bit of a change.

We have done about 10 cruises with Seabourn and feel the standard in most areas has dropped over the last couple of years. Other passengers we spoke to feel the same. The cost structure has not dropped.
We are unable to compare them with other lines.

The 16 day cruise - New Zealand & Australia was great. Seas were a little rough crossing from New Zealand to Australia but the captain did a great job! The Milford Sound was a highlight!

Very responsive crew. Cruise director was excellent. Food maintained it's excellent rating, although the wine continues to be less than exceptional - there was no New Zealand Pinot Noir even though we spent the majority of time cruising around New Zealand.

When embarked to my room, I sat in a chair and one leg came off. I was not hurt, gave the leg to a staff member and waited for the fix. I was told all it needed was some glue. There was no glue in the cabin or I could have fixed it myself.
Ship did not meet my expectations. Compared to other cruises, this one was less value for money. They did not include any onshore tours. Other lines offer at least one tour per stop as well as optional tours. As a customer , I like having that choice.
Restaurant meals were not better than RSSC or Viking. The Keller restaurant (reservations and dress code) served food family style. I enjoyed their cafe/deli style counter offering. Having smaller options for evening meals is very nice.
Cabin was comparable to other lines.
Staff are excellent! Accommodating, agreeable, pleasant and dedicated to making my stay happy.
The first four days of the trip, from Sydney through Tasman Sea to NZ we’re rocking and rolling. Gale 8 to 11 was rough

I have mixed reviews on Seabourn. For some people, it probably works very well. For us, it was too formal although we absolutely loved the size and the Encore staterooms. I have never had such a nice stateroom on any other line - the bathroom and the storage were amazing! The food, except in the "Grill" (which was amazing) was very average to pretty good in the other restaurants. There were process issues in the kitchens relative to getting gluten free food and even tea which were worked out by the staff after about a week. The regular excursions were a little more expensive than other lines like Oceania and Azamara for about the same experience although they had some really high priced and more private options that I'm sure worked well for many passengers. All and all, a little pricey for what you get.

This was our fist cruise on the larger Seabourn ship. We didn't feel like we were surrounded by an additional 200 people, and truly enjoyed the spacious public areas. The Restaurant (main dining room) is more beautiful than on the older ships, and The Grill was fabulous. The itinerary was excellent, and there was lots to do and see wherever we went. One caveat would be the rough seas on the crossing of the Tasman Sea, between New Zealand and Australia. Two of the three days were under heavy weather precautions, and quite a few people (even some crew) were not feeling well. We were fine, but did have to bounce from side to side as we walked along the corridors!
We really noticed excellent service on the Encore, but they did run out of some of the better wines only a few days into the cruise.

We have tried 8 different cruise lines, and several times we thought we had found the best. but Seabourn blew them all away with their accommodations surpassing our 5 star hotel rooms and the staff at all levels was motivated, warm and friendly. They never hesitated to assist with any request or question.
The guest speakers were outstanding, as were the entertainers. Always something to do whether tit was a game, casino tournament, boat building contest or ???
And then there was the food! We had a choice of three menus: The Thomas Keller specialty, and Inspirations menu and the Classic. sometimes it was tough to decide, but you couldn't go wrong - all fantastic! And, of course, they would even honor special requests that were not on the menu!
All in all, the best cruies experience, ever!

Ship was beautiful. Great amenities, food. The best cabin I have ever seen. Service as not as good as expected as I heard there were a number of new employees. The Retreat was great. Pool was very crowded and I didn’t love that chaises were reserved with no one using them. Casino was lacking. Entertainment was mediocre. He ports were good except for Crotone.

Seabourn Encore, Rome to Barcelona - the highlight was without doubt the few day's in Valletta, there is so much history and culture to take in that two full days was too short we will return.
All the ports of call were of interest and we also enjoyed the shore excursion to Aix in Province with a wonderful guide.
On board we were treated as royalty and the various restaurants were exceptional both in quality and service.

Our second trip on the Seabourn Encore, and a memorable Mediterranean cruise. Seabourn's accommodations and excellent cuisine are still distinctive. A wonderful itinerary with interesting ports, enjoyable entertainment, and comfortable suites. Having cruised with Seabourn in the past, it was nice to be recognized by many crew members who were attentive to special meal requests and other details of our sailing. Some service inconsistencies, but overall still one of our favorites.

The Encore wasn't the right ship for us but I can see where many people would enjoy it. The entertainment was a lot of fun but the ship had so many people, it was overwhelming. The pool was always full, outdoor dining was full, food & wine were good but not great, certainly not "luxury". Even the Thomas Keller Grill fell short IMO (granted, I'm used to eating at his finer restaurants like Per Se & French Laundry). "Premium" wines included grocery store regulars such as Santa Margherita & unbelievably, Sutter Home White Zinfandal (do ANY adults drink that?). The staff was generally good but their knowledge of food and wine was lacking.

What else do you expect from Seabourn. It was perfection. Great food, beautiful ship and friendly staff. Sure you can nit pick here and there , but the rooms, food and people were outstanding. Only complaint, 2nd Seabourn cruise in 4 months where they didn’t open the sports deck. They shouldn’t advertise something they can’t deliver.

The downside for my wife and I was the demographic of the passengers, it was pretty much the retirement crowd, stuffy and formal. Didn't find much in the offering of excursions, but the good ports of call were more important.

While Seabourn remains our cruise line of choice, the amount of time it took to repair the internal communications system when the server went down was inexcusable, especially as we were docked in several major ports where technical assistance could have been brought in. This impacted TV, movies, internet, telephone service, room service orders, overnight safety, contacting Seabourn Square, and many other functions. We could not communicate with relatives at home to check on health needs. There was no financial market info available during a highly volatile market week. Docking location was not convenient in some venues. Need to schedule more on-board activities during the day on rainy days. On the bright side, Seabourn's suites and dining venues are still wonderful and overall service is strong. It was nice to have Virtuoso hosts on board this cruise as a resource if needed.

The service was not at all up to the standards we were expecting. It felt like we were on a ship full of trainees from the room stewards, the dinning service, food preparation and presentation, activity director and the bar service. There were frequent cruisers of Seabourn that even told us that they didn’t know what was going on because this 14 day cruise was not what they were accustom too.
I did provide specific details of our dissatisfaction in a survey directly from the cruise line.

We have travelled with both Seabourn and Silversea before because we enjoy small ship cruising. The Encore has 600 guests and so it is approximately 50% larger then our prior vessels.
We still had a great time and visited some very interesting interesting ports from Dubai to Singapore, though I would say that we will look for smaller ships in the future.

Disappointing service, shaky captain

We raised several issues directly to the customer service function. Not only were they never resolved, we never heard back from them.
We spent five consecutive days at sea driven b the lack of contingency planning for weather. Also, before we even left for Norfolk Island, it was apparent in the captain’s message that he had reservations due to rough seas. This stop was aborted along with the stop in Milford Sound.
We were approximately two hours late leaving one location due to unknown issues ... but it was obvious the tugs were having serious issues getting the Encore to move from what appeared to be a shallow area. On our last stop, we were asked to be back on the ship by 4pm so the ship could leave at 4:30-5:00. The captain comes on to the speaker system and says that we would need to wait until 7:15 because of the tide timing ... who new that tide charts changed?

The Seabourn Encore was a comfortable and well furnished ship. The cabins were well laid out and spacious.
The cabin attendants did their jobs perfectly and promptly. The food was very good and for the most part the service in the restaurants was also good.
The fitness center was nice and well equipped. The spa and the nail professional was also very good.
The entertainers were very good and we enjoyed the shows.
The only problem we had was the location of our cabin. We were next to the service elevator and it was quite noisy early in the morning and sometimes late at night. Our travel agent was told after checking twice that there would only be noise during the day when the rooms were being serviced.
The rooms next to the service areas should be flagged as there will have extra noise in the same way an obstructed view cabin is noted.

Overall satisfied with Seabourn but for first time in four cruises had some disappointments. Felt like the service in all eating venues was not up to service on previous cruises. Several others that we met on the cruise felt the same way. We thought that there was not enough waiters in all of the venues. In addition feel like it is time for Seabourn to include free WiFi included in their fares.

I just like to relax, read and go on tours on a cruise. The suites are very roomy, especially for a solo traveler. The library is very nice, but I brought a lot of books on my kindle. Because I was traveling alone, I received an invitation to dinner each evening to dine with an officer or one of the entertainers. Although I didn't accept all of these, I really enjoyed the ones I did go to.

We found our Stewardess unhelpful and un informed. We didn't get our luggage promptly so went to dinner at 7pm to the casual restaurant and were insulted by the host that we were not dressed appropriately for dinner. The next night We went to the Restaurant and had the worst service of the trip. It took 2 hours to get our dinner. Excited about Thomas Keller it was fabulous! ...but the other two options had almost the same menu choices were uninspired and boring after 16 days of the same food. The Patio was fabulous but so cold outside we ate with wool blankets covering us. Also I think the cuisine and wine should reflect the countries in which you are traveling.

We cruised on the Seabourn Encore for 16 days. The suite was very nice. We were impressed by the layout of our room. The walk-in closet was great. The bathroom was great with two sinks and the balcony was a very nice size. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was excellent. This was our first cruise with Seabourn and we were very impressed. We will definitely cruise with them again.

The Seabourn Encore is a very beautiful ship. Our stateroom was very spacious, the attendant very efficient. Had en suite dining for some meals. Service was punctual; menu very good. Enjoyed the spa acupuncture service.
What was difficult was that from a pre cruise accident I was on crutches & wearing a walking boot. Access to the bathroom was a ‘step up’ which was hard & there was no grab bar(s) in the shower. The latter of which one would think be mandatory just in terms of safety for anybody.
A bitter disappointment was our last night’s reservations at the Thomas Keller Grill. A group of 7 of us were seated & immediately told of 6 items which were no longer on the menu that evening. It was explained that because the ship was going into dry dock the next day, availability to supplies was limited. We were offered additional sides & desserts but it was like the ‘larder’ being cleaned out. Thomas Keller would not have been pleased for the mediocrity of that meal.

From checking in to the cabin and finding a pair of women's underwear on the floor, to the limited dining hours with limited selections, to bad meals in the Restaurant, bad service in the Observation Bar and having to find an officer to police the saving of chaise lounges by the pool for hours on end with the pool staff doing nothing it was a great disappointment.

I was skeptical of Seabourn after having such an amazing experience on Regent the year before, but our travel advisor highly recommended them to me. I have to say, she was right. The ship was very, very nice. Very friendly staff, good food (especially the Thomas Keller restaurant), and informative presentations before each port. The excursions we did were good, but we've had more choices on other cruise lines. We had some bad weather on our trip which made us depart earlier than scheduled in a couple of ports, but there's no controlling that. Even with some gale force winds at night, we weren't sick one time. The ship was very steady. We liked Seabourn so much that we've already booked another cruise for next year with them.

I never had to wait for anything on the first and seemed to be waiting constantly for service on the latter. I am not sure if it was because the second time I was travelling with a girlfriend and on the former with my husband.

Our cruise on the Encore was our 8th cruise but our first with Seabourn. We were very impressed by the positive attitude of all staff members. They were welcoming and friendly and very service oriented. We found the itinerary to be interesting with many well planned excursions in each port. Back on ship the restaurants were excellent with good food and wines matched with great service. The entertainment was professional and truly superb. Every night there were shows before and after dinner. Comedians made us laugh out loud. Other evenings, we stood up and cheered for great singers and dancers. It was a wonderful vacation! Thanks to the crew.

Weather was perfect! Ship was in good shape. Food actually better than expected in all restaurants. Staff and crew were great, especially girls in “Sushi”. Ships tours,private and group, also better than expected. Prizes at trivia greatly exceed other lines. Nice boutique. Only disappointment was that our owner’s suite was a letdown. Closet was tiny and hard to get into and poorly lit. When you opened the closet door, it blocked shelves and drawers as well as one of the two week light bulbs. Shower was small as was the .area for the toilet. Toilet paper holder grossly misplaced and dug into one’s leg when seated. Should have been on the wall Across. Sofas and dining table should be switched in placement so you could see out sliding glass doors when on the sofa and so that you could see the tv when someone was sitting at the table. With all due respect to Adam Tihany, the room was form over function.

It was a great cruise. All the staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need or want.
The entertainment was excellent. They also have a variety of conversationalists on board which are very interesting.
They also had some special events such as champagne and caviar at the beach with a buffet lunch all brought from the ship to the island by tender.
There were also other events that made the cruise special.

It was a great cruise overall. The Staff was simply fabulous - friendly and helpful. The ship is beautiful, our cabin was great and the food was wonderful. It was a 14 day cruise with 5 days at sea. In retrospect, we would have done better with a shorter cruise and fewer days at sea. The mix of passengers on this voyager was older than we are, which made it a bit less fun for us. But the ship, the service and the food was all fabulous.

This was our 4 th Seabourn cruise and some aspects were excellent and some not as much as other Seabourn cruises we have taken.
Pros- 1)Communal areas of the ship- decor and comfort were excellent. Very high quality with well thought out aspects such as plentiful shaded areas to enjoy the outdoors.2) Itinerary- each port had something unique to offer. Good choices of shore excursions. 3) Crew were friendly, waitstaff was professional, but friendly- remembered our names, what we drank, etc., our cabin stewardess did a great job. 4) The Restaurant for dinner, Colonnade for breakfast and lunch were excellent. 5) Cruise director , Chris, and Asst, Jo, were excellent.
Cons- 1) Small cabins for upgraded room. 2) Thomas Keller was a disappointment- menu and service need upgrade, 3) lunch by pool was not good, 4) need to provide smaller water bottles for excursions.
Not Seabourn’s fault- guests were snooty and seemed to compete for richest and most successful in every conversation.

This was an incredible experience. The ship is beautiful, the food wonderful, and the shore excursions exceptional. I did not think the service was up to our experience on the Ovation a couple of years ago. I like the small size of the ship so you get to know many of your fellow travelers. The numbers on each excursion vehicle are limited so you never feel like you are being herded around in a crowd. We have already paid a future cruise credit to take another Seabourn cruise in the future!

The title sums up what I think of the cruise. Seabourn was not up to the quality that I have been accustomed to for many years but I could see that there was alot of new staff that still needed training and seasoning.

This is our second time aboard a Seabourn ship and we found the layout, size and service to fit our expectations. My wife and a friend tested positive for covid on the last day of the cruise. I can't say it was contracted aboard the ship, although I don't think the buffet lines are a good idea in these times. However, Seabourn was very responsive and helpful in getting them quarantined in a good hotel and appointing a representative to help with issues during their quarantine in Lisbon. Minor complaint: the wine aboard the ship is old and often far over-the-hill. I suspect it has been stored since the pandemic started but there is no excuse for serving 7-year-old rose.

Let me begin by saying the ship was divine and lovely. There were some exceptional crew who left lasting impressions with me. Nolly and Denuda were wonderful. Corne, Jose, and Butch were fantastic! Thelma was amazing. Igor was the utmost professional. Their exceptional service will keep me wanting to return to Seabourn.
There were a few unfortunate issues during the trip. Our second night (dinner) formal night in the main dining room we waited 30 minutes before anyone took our drink orders or tended to us. The Ad-hoc night was very much the same. I must say however it was immediately corrected once we addressed the issue. This is my third time sailing with Seabourn & the first time for my 3 acquaintances. I had boasted so much about the impeccable service & was a bit embarrassed on these two occasions.

Our SEABOURN cruise on Encore was nothing less than marvellous. The cruise from Athens to Athens for 2 weeks was exhilarating but the ship was our “destination” more than any other places. We loved every minute. CD and CDA where absolutely wonderful and crew very exceptional too. SEABOURN Encore was quite of an experience, would do it again anytime.

Seabourn was amazing. From checkin to the moment we stepped back off the ship to go home was perfection. Their staff are so pleasant and helpful. No request is too much on board a Seabourn cruise. The food was absolutely delicious. We didn't have one meal that we didn't love. Cannot wait to sail with them again.

Very enjoyable
The quality of accommodation, food and overall service was high, the staff are friendly and get to know your names so very personal.
We had one issue in the man dining room early on however the Maitre De Dusan went out his way many times to ensure rectified.
We weren't such great fans if the Source App and have provided that feedback, we like to read printed news materials & updates even if we have to pick up from the guest centre.
What distinguishes Seabourn from key competitors is the on board vibe and the on deck sail-aways and music by the pool with champagne and caviar.

Overall, the Seabourn Encore is one of the best luxury cruise ships. While there were some issues that had to be addressed they listened and made efforts to improve. Our experience in general is very good and we are booking another cruise for 2023

The service aboard the Seabourn Encore is incredible! Kudos to Flor in the Canaletto for remembering our names every day and to our Suite Hosts, Dragana (and sorry, can't remember the other's name). They were the best!
Would suggest more time in Crete and Skiathos, and just skip Bozcaada, Turkey altogether.

This was our 2nd Seabourn cruise, 1st time on Encore (1st was on the Odyssey). We were a family of 6 (3 teens plus grandma) and absolutely loved it again. It's so comfortable, the food was fantastic--we ate in the restaurant most nights when not on land and enjoyed every mean--only one sea day so rarely had lunch and usually a very quick breakfast to hit the tours. The ports were great--some of the usual hits plus some off the beaten path like Kavala, Milos, Izmir and Skiathos which we all enjoyed exploring. We had the best guides in our our locations. Looking forward to the next one.

A Nice Cruise but Average Cruise Line

We have traveled on Seabourn in the past but on this particular trip we felt that Seabourn is losing it's "luxury" standing. The staff are always friendly and helpful but the amenities and overall service didn't meet luxury standards on this cruise. First of all, if you have paid to be in a larger suite, they should provide a higher level of amenities; we had to ask them to refill our fruit bowl as it sat with 1 apple in it for 3 days. Also, on other cruise lines you get a private butler and special services such as priority seating at restaurants, free laundry etc.
There was only 1 laudry room on this ship and 2-3 of the 5 washing machines were always out of order. With so many people wanting to do their laundry and only 2 available machines there was a lot of tension and anger among the guests. The food was average but not great. We did do a chef's tasting dinner that actually was very good.

Our time on Seabourn Encore was enjoyable. The ship was beautiful and our room with a balcony was spacious and had more than enough storage. The room stewards did an excellent job at keeping our room refreshed. The tenders were large making it very easy to transfer to shore and back without long wait times. The food was good and the entertainment was enjoyable, especially the Encore singers and dancers. The excursions were informative and enjoyable, except for twice being on busses with very inadequate air conditioning, and it was hot! Communication from Encore could be improved regarding where and when to meet for excursions, as well as when a planned event is cancelled, such as a wine pairing dinner. Overall we enjoyed our time aboard Seabourn Encore.

We really enjoyed the smaller ship experience. There was never a crowd. To the point that if elevator doors opened and there was someone already inside, you would be surprised.
The bar service on the pool deck and in the restaurants could have been faster, but the staff was always great and eager to help.
The Ports of call were well chosen, varied, and amazing.

This was our first cruise and it did not disappoint. There were 600 passengers on our ship but it never felt crowded. The 2 staff that took care of us (Ritcka and Muhama...I am sure I just butchered their names - so sorry) were so wonderful. Taking a cruise was a perfectr way to island hop in the aegean.

This was our first Seabourn cruise and we were consistently pleased and delighted - from our spacious suite with tons of storage - a walk in closet! - to the wonderful service everywhere, attention to every comfort and need, and amazing organization on the various tours. Our ONLY disappointment was our dinner at the Thomas Keller grill. The food was disappointing and the service was sub par compared to the service elsewhere on the ship. Our most enjoyable dinner was the Somelier dinner in the restaurant.

Time aboard Seabourn Encore was relaxing, not crazy crowded and plenty of areas to relax in.
Rooms were nicely decorated and used space efficiently
Food was 5 star: prepared deliciously consistently
Only issue I had was with the excursions. Not enough choices and sometimes the tour guides were not the best. Also, as this is also vacation I would prefer excursions to start a bit later. As most were 1/2 day tours no reason to start before 9-9:30

Seabourn is a top of the line cruise company. It's geared to an adult passenger who expects the best in shore excursions, service, food, and plus plus amenities. We have sailed on Odyssey several times, and this time we sailed on Encore. We will continue to sail with them in the future. For passengers who prefer smaller vessels, Seabourn is the right choice.

It was much better than expected. We had a great time. Loved the ship and really enjoyed the well-appointed cabins. The bathrooms were so well planned out. Seabourn was our first ocean cruise. I was hesitant about doing an ocean voyage and having too many people at the same port etc. I was pleased with our experience, the size of the ship and the service from the many amazing Seabourn team members that made it possible. One thing I wish could have been different is it took us over 2 hours to do the "things" to board the ship as there was another cruise lines passengers boarding their ship at the same time. Honestly it was a miserable experience. I think Seabourn should give its passengers the heads up, so we would have arrived earlier. the same process that took us over two hours took the couple we were traveling with 15 minutes. This is the first experience of the cruise and at that moment I was having second thoughts about taking the cruise. Of course once we got onboard, every staff member was wonderful, food great quality etc. I would like to call out Elizabeth and Pierre our cabin stewards.

I have had over seven cruises on Seabourn. Seabourn is a beautiful company that provides excellent facilities, entertainment, and service. Every room is a great size, with a comfortable, relaxing area, full-size closet, and double-sink bathroom. The room amenities are very upscale. Now, Seabourn allows full free internet access for browsing and emails. They also offer included beverages with top brands. Highly recommend them.

We were on the Encore -Athens to Venice. The service was excellent. Great staff. Enjoyed the food and the new Solice restaurant in particular. We also had some new Ports in Turkey and Greece. The excursions we chose had excellent tour guides that made all the difference. We are booked again on Seabourn April 2025.

Superb ship, staff, entertainment, lecturers, and itinerary. contracted with excellent tour vendors/guides. Delightful passengers. Wide variety of activities onboard available when not in port. Guest services staff was terrific and helpful in many ways. Particularly enjoy the size of the ship/passenger capacity as not too large. This was my fourth Seabourn cruise and all were excellent.
