Quantum of the Seas is Fab!

We truly enjoyed our cruise aboard Quantum of the Seas. The ship is brand new, and there were some "new ship glitches" but none that truly impacted our experience. The ship is well designed, and handles crowds very well. I boarded the ship as a Dynamic Dining skeptic, and left as a cheerleader. We had made reservations for several nights at the different complimentary restaurants, but not all. We had no issues getting the times we wanted for the remaining nights while onboard. We also experimented with all the specialty restaurants. If you are the least bit open-minded about food, do not miss Wonderland! Looking forward to our next Quantum class cruise.

The overall experience was not what we are used to therefore we would not recommend this ship.

Ten Days in Paradise

We recently cruised on the Quantum of the Seas. Our experience was a very positive one and we enjoyed everyday we spent on the ship and off at the visiting ports of call. We enjoyed the Dynamic Dining and the service we received in each of the dining venues was great. We ventured out and tried all the ship had to offer from I-fly, bumper cars, North-Star to all the wonderful shows. The shows, they exceeded what we expected and the staff is to be commended for their excellence. We were not able to go to our first port of call because of bad weather at sea. I was pleased that the Captain took the time to put our saftey first rather then try to make a port with a ship full of sick cruisers. I was pleased that the Captain was able to offer us a short cruise up the Hudson to see NYC and Lady Liberty up front and personal. I was pleased that he compensated some of the short comings of a new ship with free wifi. We definately had Ten Days in Paradise.

the service, amenities, food, and variety of onshore opportunities exceeded our expectations. the ship being relatively new still has a few "bugs" to be worked out. the IT systems needs work.

One word: amazing!!! If you are into technology, Quantum is for you! From the Robot Bar to the wristbands that serve as your Sea Pass for purchases and to unlock your door, it was truly an amazing vacation. The staff was fantastic; the itinerary was great. I will definitely cruise a Quantum class ship again!

Quantum trip!

Great trip, Barcelona to Dubai! Made more special on a new, incredible ship, Quantum of the Seas. Port highlights. Must sees were Pompeii and Petra. Barcelona at the front end is a great city (a fav) worth several days visit to shake jet lag and get into vacation mode. Very reasonable. Rome and Athens great if never seen before, but both take several days to get into the history and see the beautiful things. Tours to Capri were too rushed and the lunch in Sorento was horrible food and waste of time as well. Suez Canal interesting and made an enjoyable sea day. Dubai is a spot to spend an extra day or two. Very dynamic, safe and fun shopping in the old markets. Work hard to cut a great deal.
