Why Virtuoso Sustainability

Sustainability

“One of the most significant transformations underway in travel today is the idea that we can have the trip of a lifetime, while also caring for the local people and places that we visit.  Sustainability is not a trend, in that sense, but rather an evolution of travel – and Virtuoso is committed to being on the cutting edge of innovation in the global travel community.”     - Costas Christ, Global Sustainability Strategist

Virtuoso’s Sustainability Mission

Our vision for sustainability in the travel and tourism industry has three pillars:

  1. Celebrate Culture
  2. Support Local Economies
  3. Protect the Environment
As a company, Virtuoso is committed to protecting natural and cultural heritage for future generations. Sustainability is a core value that influences everyday business decisions. Specifically, our three intentions are to:
  1. Highlight partners who are champions of sustainability
