I have been traveling internationally for over 50 years, beginning in 1959, at age 11, when my parents took my brother and myself out of school for 6 weeks to travel in Asia.  At that time there were few Americans and virtually no children traveling in Asia.  I have continued to travel, now to over 100 foreign destinations and have become a member of the Travelers' Century Club.  

My travel interests (and experience) include multiple high altitude trekking adventures, snorkeling and scuba diving in tropical waters, and nature photography.
