Virginia Poynor is a luxury travel advisor based in Birmingham, Alabama. Her love of travel started young - from a family trip to the Galápagos to exploring Europe in high school. That curiosity deepened during a semester studying French in Paris, where every weekend was a new country. Her travels have since taken her to five continents and counting. Virginia studied information systems and international business at the University of Georgia, built a career in cybersecurity consulting in Austin, Texas, and spent over two years growing Virginia Poynor Travel alongside her cybersecurity career before making the leap into travel full time. Virginia Poynor Travel was created to share that same love of the world with her clients, curating meaningful and unforgettable travel adventures.
