About Me
My Background
The inspiration behind Meridian Edge started with two students on opposite sides of the world — Matt in Australia, Kevin in Spain — each discovering how travel could shape the way they see the world. Decades later, those early sparks evolved into a company built on global experience and two different but complementary approaches to travel.
Matt‘s early travels took him through Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America, following his passion for adventure, diverse cultures and connecting with nature and magical landscapes. Kevin’s journeys, both business and leisure, spanned North and South America, Latin America, South Africa, and Europe developing a taste for quiet luxury and boutique style, exploring ‘flavor trails’ and uncovering unique experiences often overlooked.
Grounded in decades of travel across 90+ countries and six continents, the co-founders of Meridian Edge bring extensive experience combined with keen instinct. Over the last 15 years, they’ve blended their distinct travel styles into a signature approach with an evolved perspective — where our clients feel the difference. Beyond travel, our executive backgrounds in technology, healthcare, and finance give us strategic clarity and operational discipline, with client focus as a core value. Pair that with a genuine passion for exploration, and each itinerary is crafted to be felt, not just followed — a memorable story that unfolds along the way.
We put the client experience first and everything starts with listening. We don’t just ask what you want — we want to know why. Your goals, your style, and your preferences guide us — to better understand what fits seamlessly and where we may introduce a fresh angle to elevate your experience. That's how we work with you to tailor trips that feel personal, seamless, and unforgettable. For us, success is knowing you’re still sharing your stories long after you return — and yes, we look forward to sharing one of our stories that still makes us laugh: Thanksgiving in Bolivia, complete with swinging saloon doors and a goat.
