My love of travel started at age six, when my father took me to Japan. I've never really recovered.

Since then, I've studied abroad in England, backpacked New Zealand for six months (including a memorable stint selling fruit from rainbow-painted vans), earned a graduate degree that took me to live in Hungary, Sweden, and Greece, and explored more than 50 countries, many of them solo.

I spent nearly a decade in product management, where my job was to deeply understand what people needed. Now I bring that same instinct to travel. I founded Nilson Signature Travel to help busy professionals experience the world in a way that feels genuinely personal: immersive, thoughtfully designed, and nothing like a packaged tour.
