About Me
Born and raised in the heart of the Midwest, Meryl Mitchelson carries the warmth and genuine connection of her Kansas City roots into every journey she plans. A proud graduate of the University of Kansas, she majored in Elementary Education and expanded her studies with a semester abroad in Florence, Italy—immersing herself in culinary arts, uncovering unforgettable dining experiences, and embracing the value of diving into new cultures.
After college, Meryl found herself spending most weekends exploring places both nearby and across the country, while teaching 2nd grade in Kansas City. Those weekend trips eventually led her to move to New York City, where her focus shifted from shaping young minds in the classroom to helping others unlock the invaluable lessons that only travel can teach.
Meryl brings the same thoughtfulness she once brought to her students into the world of luxury travel, working alongside her mother, Megan Grossman, who instilled in her the value of experiences over possessions. She believes that the most memorable journeys are those shared with the people who matter most, whether that means uncovering hidden corners of New York City with friends, taking in Safari views with family, or simply gathering around a table to enjoy a home-cooked meal inspired by a recipe from across the globe.
For Meryl, travel is about learning and connecting—both to the world and to each other—and she takes pride in helping clients gain experiences like the ones that have shaped her into the person she is.
