George was born and raised in Stowe, Vermont, where his family proudly owned and operated Stowe Travel Service for over 52 years. Following in the footsteps of a family tradition in travel, George built an impressive 20-year career in the industry, working with respected companies such as Thomas Cook, American Express, and Insight Vacations, as well as serving as Sales Manager for the prestigious downtown Boston hotel, Le Méridien. A devoted father of six, George has been fortunate to explore destinations across the globe, both domestically and internationally. While travel has been central to his life, his greatest passions lie in the outdoors—hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycle touring, skiing and mountain biking. An avid outdoorsman, he spends much of his free time at his home in southern Vermont embracing the beauty and adventure of New England.
