I crossed the International Date Line before I could walk—a Navy brat discovering cherry blossoms in Japan, hidden corners in mountain towns. That taught me what matters most in travel: not the famous sites, but the pacing and timing that make a place feel earned.

Over thirty years traveling for a global technology company across Europe and South America reinforced it. I learned to navigate cultures and find what guidebooks miss. And I learned this: trips that stick aren't the ones checking boxes. They're the ones where you arrive somewhere and it feels right—because someone with real judgment shaped every detail.

How I Travel

I design trips rooted in authenticity and genuine judgment. I'm especially known for Italy and Portugal—the regional specialties, the villages that feel alive, the family-owned restaurants where locals actually eat. I understand pacing: how a morning in a small village sets up an evening in a world-class city.

I also work deeply in France, Spain, and Greece, and have strong relationships with operators across East Africa (safaris that surprise) and Japan.

Every itinerary answers one question: where should you actually be, at what time, and why? That reshapes everything—from property selection to day pacing to dining. It's the difference between a well-organized trip and one that changes how you travel.
