About Me
Growing up in a small Midwestern town, I was first introduced to travel through friends in college on a European Study Tour to Paris, London, and Brussels. To this day, I still consider that opportunity a life changing experience. Majoring in Dietetics at the time with a passion for health and fitness, which has continued to this day~ my calling to travel prevailed and I changed my major to Hotel, Restaurant Management & Tourism. Opening up a new world, embracing every opportunity to study, travel, and explore my newfound passion.
I was fortunate to meet my husband in college. Sharing the same interests, we embraced every chance to wander through a new destination, experience the unique culture, local cuisine, architecture and history.
Living in the Netherlands for two years and traveling to many off the beaten track, lesser-known places and hidden gems throughout Europe we began to pass our love of travel and exploration onto our two boys at a very young age. Being fully immersed in a destination and culture is enriching, life changing and creates beautiful memories.
I have had the good fortune to visit over 45 countries and explore all seven continents. Some personal favorites destinations that I return to often include Italy, France, Australia, Spain and our amazing US National Parks and mountain towns.
I love to experience and create journeys that are transformative and truly memorable.
