Lissa Poirot began her career in travel as a travel writer and editor, covering destinations, hotels, cruises, and adventures in print and online magazines while traveling around the globe. As editor-in-chief of TripAdvisor’s Family Vacation Critic for 8 years, Lissa was fully immersed in family travel, taking her young children with her on her escapades.

During 20+ years of exploring and planning vacations, Lissa has visited more than 50 countries and nearly all 50 states (just four to go!). This led to friends and family often seeking her advice and expertise, and Lissa found herself falling in love with planning trips that would leave loved ones wowed.

Now a member of Ciao Bambino, which has been planning and booking luxury vacations for every stage of life – from that first trip with a baby in tow to a parents-only getaway after the kids have left the nest – for two decades. Ciao Bambino and Lissa are passionate about empowering families to explore the world together and create memories that last a lifetime.

Since joining Ciao Bambino, Lissa has planned family vacations in Europe, Central America, Asia and the U.S. for dozens of clients, quickly utilizing her expertise to help create memorable trips for families of all sizes.
