Originally from Canada, I spent over a decade living and working in Italy as an active travel guide for Backroads, where I led and designed immersive itineraries. As Italy expert, I developed a deep appreciation for thoughtful pacing, local connections, and learning the stories behind every place. I later spent five years planning private and custom trips from Backroads' Berkeley headquarters, before founding Evoca Travel Company from my home base in Marin County, California.

I speak Italian, French, and Spanish, and love nothing more than uncovering hidden gems, sharing great meals, and designing travel that feels both seamless and meaningful.
