I think travel should be filled with variety, Each trip needs to be unique, each day its own "WOW", with off-the-beaten path adventures and unexpected opportunities. My favorite place to travel is usually where ever I'm going next. But penguins in Antarctica and elephants in Africa have left an indelible mark.

I love it when gaps in my knowledge are filled in, when I look at an issue from another point of view, and when I finally experience in real life what I've only seen in pictures. I like to eat as a local, share a table at a pub and people watch from a cafe. I want each day to be memorable. I'll be the first off a cruise ship to explore a port and the last still gazing at the Milky Way in the dark sky. I've been snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and took the Polar Plunge in Antarctica!
