Marc Harrington is the founder of Temenos Travel, a SmartFlyer affiliate in the Virtuoso network. He brings to travel design a lifelong passion for meaningful journeys shaped by his background in anthropology, literature, and over a decade of experience designing transformative educational programs.

Some of Marc’s earliest memories involve sea crossings to Nova Scotia and cultural exchanges that revealed travel’s power to open worlds. His studies at Bennington College deepened a perspective rooted in curiosity and respect for people, history, and place. Extended stays in Rome, Paris, and the French West Indies shaped his philosophy that travel is most rewarding when it blends immersion with reflection.

Before launching Temenos Travel, Marc worked with leading universities and global organizations to create innovative learning experiences, guiding professionals through discovery and transformation. Today, he applies that same lens to travel: each itinerary is a balance of cultural depth and restorative luxury, offering clients opportunities to slow down, connect, and be changed by the journey.
