About Me
Traveling and exploring came early in Holly's life. In the 1970s, she began flying the skies on prop planes between Pine Bluff/Little Rock and Fayetteville, Arkansas.
At nine years old, Holly traveled with her mother and great-aunt to the British Isles. This three-week ancestral journey included stays in England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. Memorable moments from this trip include viewing the Floral Clock in Edinburgh, watching baby ducks swim in Stratford-upon-Avon, getting stuck in a castle elevator, and carrying her white purse emblazoned with an Arkansas Razorback.
It would be a few more years until Holly traveled across the Pond. In 1982, Holly spent the summer in Turkey as an AFS exchange student. Even though Holly spoke only three Turkish words (her host family spoke very little English), the adventure was life-changing. Other journeys during high school and college included traveling to Mexico to visit Mayan ruins, a trip to Germany including a stay in Berlin before the Wall came down, and a European study abroad.
Travel is more than just destinations—it’s about creating meaningful moments and lasting memories, about connecting with people and places. Whether you're dreaming of bucket list travels of visiting all seven continents, ancestral treks, or carefree beach vacations, let Holly be your guide.
