With a lifelong spirit of adventure and curiosity, my journey has taken me from standing at the Korean DMZ to walking through Checkpoint Charlie just after the fall of the Berlin Wall. These formative experiences taught me early on that travel isn’t just a getaway—it’s a gateway to greater understanding, connection, and transformation.

After a 28-year career with NASA, where precision, problem-solving, and big-picture thinking were second nature, I brought that same drive into co-founding and running successful Mathnasium learning centers with my husband. For over a decade, we helped hundreds of families foster confidence and academic growth in their children—work that deeply fulfilled my love for service and meaningful impact.

Now, as a graduate of Largay Travel’s esteemed mentoring program, I’ve launched Sandy Escapes—a boutique travel advisory service rooted in care, curiosity, and the belief that the right journey can change a life. Whether it’s an adrenaline-filled adventure, a multigenerational family escape, a soul-nourishing wellness retreat, or a deep cultural immersion, I approach each itinerary with heart, intention, and a commitment to crafting seamless, inclusive, and truly unforgettable experiences.
