Hi, I'm Alex - A Type-A planner who lives for the spontaneous and unique experiences that are often discovered on a great trip. I love that travel helps us see the world through other's eyes and experiences, and the way these experiences expand our understanding and empathy towards others.

Travel Style: I’m passionate about learning about my environment, and am always seeking one-of-a-kind experiences and hidden gems when I travel. My perfect city trips include a few daily plans with plenty of time to wander and explore different neighborhoods. I gravitate towards small, boutique hotels with fabulous bars, and can usually find the perfect restaurant packed with locals, great food and ambiance. I feel equally fortunate hiking with my son in Costa Rica and experiencing water so blue it looks photoshopped, as I do taking a cheese class in Paris or hanging out with my husband and friends at the Grand Banks Oyster Bar in Manhattan on a beautiful summer day.
