About Me
With two Cardinals and a Pope among his ancestors and a Jewish godfather, Roberto was born in Padova, Italy, educated in Florence and Venice, and later studied physics and chemistry in Santiago, Chile where he was an assistant professor at the Catholic University.
Roberto was a member of the Chilean Press when he came to the USA as a correspondent of the Chilean Giornale Italia. After studying English at Columbia University in New York he moved to Dallas where he became a faculty member of Southwest Medical School. He was a volunteer at the Zale Lipshy hospital. He was the manager of the Wesley Gallery in Fort Wort. He continued to learn the different cultures of the world by traveling the globe during his twenty years with American Airlines International Department and a member of the AMR Management Club. Roberto successfully founded the AMR International Travel Night. With the Civil Air Patrol he was selected to take a CAP National Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base course in Joint Emergency Services. He was the founder of the Italian Symposium of Texas and the founder and first President of the Italian Club of Dallas. The Chamber of Commerce of Padova awarded Roberto the Gold Medal for having honored Italy by his promotion of Italian industry, culture and language in the USA and tourism to Italy. Roberto elected early retirement from American Airlines and is affiliated to the prestigious Cassis Travel Service, a member of Virtuoso. He created his own brand Conderoberto. As a Vice President of Technojet he was a buyer for the Mexican Air Force. For years Roberto has been selected by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the Top 100 Travel Specialists in the country for his expertise and personalized services focusing on luxury travel and cruises. He was a member of the Saveur Travel Board. He has been quoted in Conde Nast Traveler, Saveur, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, in Circle Entree and CNN Travel. Roberto had the honor to cut the ribbon of the inaugural American Airlines flight from Dallas to Rome. *****With his license for years Roberto has been taking travelers to Cuba. Roberto fluently speaks and writes Italian, English and Spanish. He has a dual nationality: USA and Italian.
