About Me
Dotsie’s love for travel has been a constant throughout her life. Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, she spent summers along the coasts of North Carolina and Virginia’s Chesapeake Bay, and winters visiting family in Palm Beach, Florida. Her spring breaks were often spent exploring the Caribbean islands. Inspired by her travel-loving grandmother, Dotsie’s passion for adventure led her to start her own jewelry business to fund teen service trips to Maui, South Africa, and Peru, where she hiked Machu Picchu. While attending Texas Christian University, she studied abroad on South Africa's Eastern Cape, further fueling her wanderlust. Her summers were spent living in new destinations, including Jackson, Wyoming; Bozeman, Montana; and New York City, a place she fell in love with. Joining The Local Foreigner allows her to combine her love of travel with her passion for crafting meaningful and immersive experiences for clients, all while living in a city she adores.
