About Me
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul MN. I spent the first years of my career working in Sales and Marketing, but then took a career pause to be home with my three small children. During this period, I volunteered extensively at my children’s school, chairing committees focused on supporting school programs and fundraisers. When I decided to return to the work-force, I took some time to reflect on my next step. I wanted to enjoy my work, and also demonstrate to my children that work is joyful when it aligns with what you truly care about. After returning from an adventure with family, I decided to pursue a career in travel, driven by my love for exploration and new experiences. I wanted to help others discover the world too. This led me to work with luxury villa rentals and later transition into travel planning with Ciao Bambino.
My first trip to New York City in high school remains unforgettable - the energy, diversity, and vibrant culture made a lasting impression. New York remains one of my favorite destinations, where every visit offers a new experience. Backpacking through Europe after college was also eye-opening. The beauty, history and culture were as inspiring as the people I encountered, eager to share their part of the world.
Food has always been a big part of my travel memories - from the unforgettable lentil dish in the Luberon area of France, to huitlocoche in Baja California, fresh caught salmon in the Pacific Northwest, and wild boar in Florence. Each meal offers a sense of place and creates lasting memories. Now, I love watching my kid’s curiosity expand through travel. Every journey allows us to grow individually, and also strengthens our connection as a family.
Over the years, I’ve gained a deeper appreciation for life’s gifts. Whether traveling alone or with loved ones, it’s a meaningful experience that not only reveals new worlds, but also connects us as humans. I love learning about our client's travel dreams and playing a role in bringing them to life. Time is precious, and the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful world with those who matter most is a true gift. I’m grateful for the opportunity to do this work!
