Hi, I’m Jessica!

As a wife, mother, and goal-oriented go-getter myself, I absolutely know what it’s like to feel busy to the bone. Pre-family, I used to take trips that were go with the flow. Always one to embrace the unknown, always okay with just seeing how things will shake out. That way of traveling was impossible post-kids. Going from being go-with-the-flow to Type A was just one of the curveballs motherhood has thrown at me, but I’m so glad it did—because it set me on the path to founding The Designed Itinerary. When I look back at the trips I took pre-personality shift, I now cringe. Because my “winging it” vacations were filled with so much wasted time, and wasted money. I’d often spend half a trip waiting for a table, tickets, an idea, anything with my nose buried in my phone while googling options, and missing the beauty unfolding all around me. Today, I fiercely believe that having a plan equals having more freedom. Freedom to be present in the moment. Freedom to go off the beaten path—because you have one to stray from. Freedom to explore fully, without having to worry about the where, when, what, and how of it all. And, when you work with me, freedom from having to plan a single detail yourself. And I’m willing to bet they’re exactly what you need. The well-designed journeys I have shared with my own family and friends have been some of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Now, I want to share that joy and meaning with you—through a Designed Itinerary of your own.
