About Me
Prior to making the leap to become a travel advisor, I spent fourteen years as a high school Environmental Science teacher while planning travel for her family and friends. From my semester in Costa Rica during college to exploring the world with my family and planning trips for others, I have gained a deep understanding of what makes a journey truly unforgettable. Joanna’s fascination with exploring diverse cultures, landscapes, and experiences inspired her career transition and she’s never looked back! This rewarding work has allowed her to transform her passion for discovery into a profession while guiding others in their explorations of the world.
I firmly believe that travel is the ultimate form of education, a belief that has guided both my parenting and approach to planning travel for clients. I have explored fifteen countries with my husband and two children— each year, my family’s collective passport stamps only continue to grow. Through my experiences, I have learned to anticipate the needs and preferences of my clients, and I am always seeking out new destinations and experiences to enrich my recommendations. For me, it’s all about personalization and attention to detail. I firmly believe that the key to creating unforgettable travel experiences is tailoring every aspect of the journey to the individual traveler. By taking the time to understand each traveler’s unique interests and preferences, I creates a bespoke itinerary that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression.
My recommendations to clients are guided by my personal travel style and first-hand experiences. I am drawn to immersive experiences that allow me to connect with the local culture and environment. I love to seek out off-the-beaten-path locations like Macau, but I also appreciate iconic destinations like the Amalfi Coast. I tailor my recommendations to my clients’ interests and values, whether they want luxurious relaxation or adventurous exploration.
