About Me

Having lived the same city all of my life, New Orleans, LA, travel has become an outlet for a change of scenery, pace, activities, and cuisine. My first flight I took was at the age of 19 to New York City to see several Broadway shows. One could say my love of the arts is what sprung me to be “bit by the travel bug”. One of my hobbies to this day is performing in local musical theater productions.

Also, being from New Orleans definitely jump-started my love of local cuisine. I consider myself a foodie! Anywhere from an intimate meal in the home of a local to fine dining…I cannot pass up a fabulous meal experience. It's certainly part of the whole travel experience for me. Food is one of my favorite subjects in the world and I could talk about it endlessly!

Some of my favorite destinations are…city wise: New York City, Florence, & Budapest! Nature: Kawaii, Lake Louise, African Safaris. Personally, I like to mix things up with a balance of city life (shows, restaurants, museums, etc.) and nature (hiking, biking, rafting, etc.).

My Travel Style Is: Whether it’s solo, family, or group travel, I enjoy being organized and having a clear itinerary. I want to maximize whatever the destination has to offer, take it all in, while leaving a little wiggle room for rest and relaxation.

Fun Facts:

My husband owns a bar in New Orleans, so it is no surprise that I love a greatcocktail! I especially love a fantastic ROOFTOP bar when traveling. Being able to enjoy a bird’s eye view of a city and a great glass of vino at the sametime is totally my style!

I have been on TEN (and counting!) TAUCK tours (luxury guided travel)!

I am often planning future travel WHILE I am traveling!
