Melissa has extensively traveled for 30 years. She specializes in ocean and river cruises, Croatian yacht charters, family travel, food and wine, couples getaways, luxury travel, boutique hotels, and girls trips, as well areas such as Europe, Hawaii, California, Mexico, and more.

At age 20 she sailed around the world on Semester at Sea fueling her desire to explore and learn about other cultures. For over ten years she has recounted her travel tales in numerous publications both online and in print, such as Lonely Planet, USA Today 10Best, Fodor's, AAA World Magazine, Insider, Malibu Coast Lifestyle Magazine, and more. She has been interviewed about travel advising in publications such as Fodor's, Forbes, Travel Research Online, and Gettysburg College Magazine.

Some of her favorite trips include Croatia by boat, Sicily, Italy, Budapest, Prague, Paris, river cruises on the Danube and Seine, Tulum, Cabo, Kauai, Maui, Napa, and Sonoma.

When she is home, she splits her time between Malibu and Palm Springs, California.
