Christy Fitzharris is a San Antonio, Texas luxury travel advisor specializing in river cruises and ocean cruises as well as African safaris. She founded Wheels Up Travel & Cruise after retiring in 2018 from the U.S. Army as an AH-64 Apache Maintenance Test Pilot and Air Mission Commander. The precision her flying demanded now shapes every itinerary she designs.

She specializes in matching clients with the perfect river cruise and loves to work with Riverside Luxury Cruises, AmaWaterways, Tauck, and Aqua Expeditions, guiding clients along the Danube, Rhine, Douro, Mekong and all rivers of the world. For ocean voyages she works with Regent Seven Seas, Silversea, Crystal, Explora Journeys, and Lindblad Expeditions. Africa is her passion: having traveled the continent multiple times firsthand, she designs safaris from Kenya and Uganda to South Africa with the same precision she brought to the cockpit.
