My mother once said that she hated driving by airports because planes were departing and she was not on board! I inherited that gene.

My lifelong obsession with travel kicked in during a college semester in Paris. I was in love, not just with the magic of Paris, but the journey. Immediately upon graduation I secured a position in the travel industry.

My personal favorite destination is the overland journey of a safari. As an avid equestrian riding a horse alongside the vast herds in Kenya is an experience I love to share. Europe is a close second, the rich history, architecture, wine and culinary experiences.

After raising our two sons in Atlanta and on a horse farm in Athens Georgia, my husband Sam and I now live in historic Aiken, SC. I invest heavily in my travel knowledge by frequent travel to destinations that I have not visited before. I usually host one small group trip a year, a safari.
