Brita first fell in love with travel at a young age when she flew unaccompanied to visit family friends in Sweden. The magical red cottages dotting the archipelago, collecting wildflowers for midsummer wreaths and the opportunity to see the world from a whole other continent shaped her young perspective.

During her undergrad years, she was fortunate to participate in two summer sessions abroad. She studied French artists from a castle on the Mediterranean in the South of France, and also Art, Architecture and Film during WWII in Germany.

After a working in background in tax preparation for many years, she decided to make a shift towards travel planning and is thrilled to be on the Weekend Savvy team.

Brita focuses on luxury family and multi-generational travel and couples looking to book memory-making trips. She enjoys being a mom to two busy teens and a playful cockapoo pup named Ozzie, and a spouse to Ketchen who works in the medical implant industry in North San Diego County.
