About Me
Charlotte was raised in Chicago, Illinois, in a bilingual household, where her mother, who is of Quebecois descent, taught her French. From Pre-K through high school she attended a lycée français, a French immersion school in Chicago, where traveling was an integral part of her education. Her first school trip was in 5th grade to St. Pierre et Miquelon, a remote French island off the coast of Canada, where she spent a week learning about the culture of this small fishing community. In high school, she lived in Barcelona, Spain with a Spanish family for 3 months, studying at the Lycée Francais de Barcelone. She kicked off her college career with a semester in Paris before heading to Tulane University in New Orleans, where she majored in political science and French. After graduation, she returned to Paris to teach English in the French public school system. Now, Charlotte is starting her next adventure in another great city - New York.
