Originally from a small town in Minnesota, Kari's passion for travel began at age 16 during a life-changing trip to Costa Rica. Inspired by her love for different cultures, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism with a minor in Spanish. While her early ambitions leaned toward education, she quickly found her true calling in the travel industry, blending her love of culture, adventure, and connection.

Kari launched her career in Miami’s luxury hotel scene before transitioning to crafting custom itineraries across the United States and Canada for a prestigious tour operator. Over the years, she has traveled to 42 countries and developed a deep level of expertise across a range of destinations. She specializes in luxury safaris throughout Africa, curated adventures through the American Southwest’s national parks, journeys through the Canadian Rockies, complex itineraries throughout Europe and Asia, and stays at the finest luxury hotels across Mexico and the Caribbean.

Now based in Dallas with her beloved mini poodle, Nachi, Kari is the founder of Jetset Luxe Travel. In addition to planning luxury trips around the world, she leads a growing team of eight advisors, sharing her passion for travel and helping others build thriving careers while enjoying the benefits of entrepreneurship.
