Growing up, travel was a key part of life. Coming from Rochester NY, there were summer trips to Vancouver for ski training, and winter trips to the Caribbean to warm up and spend time with our extended family. Later working in education, summer vacations opened the possibility to explore further, getting to see destinations at various points in Europe.

Now with a family of my own, and two boys who are at the age where traveling helps to appreciate new perspectives and cultures, my husband and I are consciously looking to spread the love of adventure into their lives. In the past year we've managed to make it to both Hawaii and Costa Rica, exploring a wide variety of natural environments, local restaurants, thrill-seeking adventures, and unique hotels to relax and regroup.
