“Wait, where’s my passport????” I was 13, standing at the airline check in counter, getting ready for my first trip to Europe with my school Drama club and my passport was nowhere to be found. My parents rushed me back home to retrieve the forgotten document, and luckily, I was able to reconnect with my friends on the way to London. That would be the first of many trips abroad I’d take in my lifetime.

I am Taunya Kunz and, along with my mom, am co-founder of Epic World Travel Experts. My parents introduced us to the joys of travel when my siblings and I were young. I can remember many occasions where a Christmas, Birthday or Graduation gift was a trip somewhere. They scraped and saved to be able to take us to Europe for Christmas one year when we were young teenagers. My brothers and I went to Hawaii together in our 20s as a Christmas gift another year. One year, one of my brothers and I decided we wanted to see Russia, so off we went! And not long ago, my sister and one brother met up with mom and I in Singapore in the middle of an adventure we were already on in the area. Most of us kids have had opportunities to travel the World, and I mean that literally, with Mom at different times. We are a traveling family. It’s in our blood. It’s what we love.

Many of us have children of our own, and they, too, have come to love traveling the World. Some of the grandkids have traveled abroad with Mom (a.k.a Grandma) and have experienced the wonders of the World just with her. We’ve traveled in pairs, in groups, all together, or as a solo traveler, on airplanes, on cruise ships, on trains across Siberia, on trains underwater, on helicopters, on donkeys through Africa, on treks up some of Mt. Everest, and even in hot air balloons! We’ve done it. But we’re not done. We never will be.

Now, Mom and I want to help you see the things you’ve always wanted to see. To experience the things you’ve always wanted to experience. To discover places and possibilities you didn’t even know existed. We can’t wait to show you the World, and to help you create your own memories of a well-traveled life.
