I didn’t know about travel when I was a kid. Our family went camping every summer to a remote part of the Sierra’s. I always dreamed of staying in an actual hotel (instead of a tent, with my little brother on the other cot)! After college I took a position at a Management Consultant firm, and 2 weeks later they sent me to live in Melbourne! I didn’t even have a passport! That experience opened my eyes to the world around me and I was forever changed. My career later took me to live in Dublin and then (briefly) in Paris. As an event producer, I traveled the world creating and managing trade shows, events and weddings. I finally put my travel and event experience to work when I started Luna Travel. This agency is a vehicle by which I can help others enjoy meaningful travel. I know all too well both the joys and the pitfalls of travel, and I am able to navigate my clients’ trips so they enjoy the best experience. I’m detail-oriented, on task and love to make people happy, which is a good combination for a travel advisor! I continue to travel, as it is a big part of my life. I haven’t yet seen the whole world, but it’s on my list. I’m usually gone a few months at a time. You’ll often find me in Bordeaux or Barcelona setting up my office for a long stay. Along the way I take a cruise, inspect hotels, interview private guides and test local restaurants. I have friends in every port, and love connecting with them.
