Emerson has a passion for travel and helping others experience new corners of the world they’ve never been. She has been with Valerie Wilson Travel since January 2023. Prior to settling in Charlotte, North Carolina, Emerson was a digital nomad throughout her mid twenties. Living in a total of 12 different countries throughout Europe over 4 years.

Prior to joining the travel industry, Emerson was working as a landscape architect designing 5 star luxury hotel landscapes across the US and South and Central America. With this background, she became very familiar with the hotel industry and gained a passion for sustainable travel. From envisioning the experience, the guest will have from the moment they set foot on property to the detailed design choices made not only with the luxury client in mind, but also the environment. Emerson has always had the client experience at the forefront of her work. She even had the opportunity to help sell a property that she had previously designed and constructed in Costa Rica.

Emerson’s first-hand travel knowledge has been invaluable to her team and clients. Being a cultured and a well-seasoned traveler combined with her design expertise has allowed her to not only focus on the human centered experiences, but deliver creative and beautifully designed itineraries.
