A California native, Vanessa currently lives in Menlo Park with her husband and three young children. She attributes her love of travel and seeing the world to her grandparents and great-grandparents. Her great-grandparents had many adventures around the world including Europe, Africa, Australia, New Guinea, South America, the Caribbean and many more places. Listening to stories and seeing pictures and artifacts from their travels piqued Vanessa's interest in seeing the world.

Some of Vanessa's memorable travel experiences include sailing through the BVI's, exploring Italy, enjoying Paris and then taking in the charm of all the smaller towns in the countryside, and any trip that involves being near the water. Hawaii and Mexico are favorite destinations of hers to travel as a family. As a former teacher, Vanessa's organization, creativity, and precision ensure a smooth planning process.
