Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, my interest for international travel began at a young age, sparked by the countless trips to the airport to welcome my aunts and uncle back home when they would visit from the land that once seemed so far away; the United States. My uncle’s motto “Roots in Brazil, branches around the world” planted the seed that would later become my own reality.

My first experience within the travel industry was at the airport itself, as a ticketing agent. Next, on a whim, I decided to move to Uruguay (a country I had never visited before), and again found myself exposed to the travel industry, this time, providing software support to major airlines around the world. After moving to California, I continued developing my customer care skills at my family’s business, gathering over 10 years of experience focusing on delivering personalized service.

A foodie turned culinary student, my love for gastronomic experiences fuels the incessant quest in finding the next hip eatery, or the best under the radar restaurant. I'm a native Portuguese speaker, and learned Spanish by listening to my coworkers. As a visual arts enthusiast, I taught myself to shoot analog pictures with an old Canon. In my free time, I like to rollerblade in the streets of the California desert and practice Pilates.
