Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Claire knows a thing or two about gracious hospitality. Having watched her hometown evolve from charming small Southern city to top-ranked international destination, she understands what truly makes a place special—authenticity, unique character, and friendly people. She’s an adventurer at heart—a certified dive instructor who spent her summers island hopping throughout the Caribbean. Through teaching others how to scuba dive and sail, she's witnessed firsthand how new experiences can transform lives. Propelled to better understand the relationship between people and place, Claire earned a degree in Sociology and Environmental Studies from Wake Forest University. Given her passion for the planet and integral understanding that travel breaks down barriers and expands hearts and minds, she believes packing a suitcase can be one step toward creating a better world. Her favorite type of travel is a mix of plush, to-die-for accommodations in a culture-rich location with lush nature nearby, and she loves putting together travel opportunities for others that surpass their bucket list dreams.
