I founded MMarkham Travel to help busy professionals make the most of their most valuable resource: time.

As a practicing physician for more than two decades, I've spent my career guiding people through pivotal moments — and one truth has stayed with me: we rarely regret the trips we take, only the ones we postpone.

That belief shapes how I work. MMarkham Travel exists for physicians, executives, and entrepreneurs who understand the value of their time, but rarely have enough of it to spend on the details of travel planning. My role is to hold that complexity so they don't have to — bringing judgment, discretion, and a physician's eye for what actually matters.

I've walked private vineyard paths in the Douro Valley, watched my own children snorkel alongside sea turtles in the Galápagos, and returned from a wellness retreat changed in ways I didn't expect. Those experiences inform how I build every itinerary — whether it's a European escape for two, a multigenerational family journey, a safari in the Masai Mara, or a retreat designed around restoration rather than sightseeing.
