Hi, I’m Julia Benedict, owner of Shades Signature Travel.

Travel has always been more than just a vacation to me. It’s about discovering new places, creating lasting memories, and experiencing the world in a meaningful way. What started as a passion for travel grew into a career helping others plan unforgettable journeys.

After spending many years helping clients explore the world while balancing a 30-year career with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, I eventually decided to follow my passion full-time and build my own travel business. Today, I have the privilege of helping travellers plan everything from cruises and all-inclusive vacations to guided tours, luxury escapes, and custom-designed adventures.

As my business has grown, so has my vision. That’s what inspired the transition to Shades Signature Travel, a brand that reflects the personalized service, attention to detail, and elevated travel experiences I strive to provide for every client. Along with the rebrand came the launch of my new website, a place where travellers can find destination inspiration, travel tips, featured getaways, personal travel stories, and helpful planning resources.
