After a stint at a global PR firm’s Miami office following college, Amy soon realized that the travel industry was the business she wanted to be in.

Her first hotel role was at Island Outpost as public relations manager for the eclectic collection of boutique hotels owned by music mogul Chris Blackwell. Early on, she moved into sales which meant agency events in New York and London, traveling to the off the beaten path properties in Jamaica and The Bahamas (at that time) that ignited a passion for authentic travel experiences.

Amy’s next career move was to the newly opened Mandarin Oriental, Miami (2003) which was the city’s first international luxury brand on the scene. The art of gracious, intuitive service further shaped her view of hospitality that lead to other opportunities for other hotel launches with Viceroy and then Taj Hotels and Resorts. The bonus was a life changing three-week sojourn throughout India.

In 2014, after working at hotels that were preferred partners of Virtuoso for more than a decade, Amy joined Virtuoso as an Account Director. This role included managing relationships with agency members.

In late 2021, Amy joined the growing SmartFlyer HQ team to manage the Affiliates program including onboarding, training and development.
