Menzies Luxe Retreats is an award winning luxury travel agency based in Darien, CT and Winter Park, FL serving affluent travelers across the US. The company has particularly gained its notoriety for its sharp value oriented knowledge of global ultra-luxury hotels and resorts. We have been awarded top global producer honors for Four Seasons and Marriott hotels multiple years running since 2022. The agency was also named Virtuoso's prestigious "Rising Star" award at Travel week in 2023, just 2 years into operation. Christy (Paluf) Menzies, the founder, went to Yale University where she was captain of the volleyball team. She used this time as a springboard to explore and studied abroad for a semester in Barcelona. Multiple milestone trips later from all across Europe to New Zealand, Australia, and throughout North America, it was apparent Christy was a traveler for life.

She then worked in sales on a trading floor for several banks for 10 years. Here she fine tuned her analytical problem solving skills as well as relationship management IQ and understands the importance of defining each client’s unique proposition, and meeting their needs. She now has 5 children from ages 1-11 years old and resides in both Winter Park, FL and just outside of New York City in Darien, CT. In addition to our hotel and international travel expertise, we are uniquely positioned to assist families (yes with 5 children who share candid reviews!) in all components of luxury theme park visits from VIP guides, most advantageous timing, concierge level Disney cruise line, accommodations, etc.
