Hi, I’m Sarah Key, founder of The Keys to Travel. My love of travel has always been part of who I am. Growing up, family vacations were rare but unforgettable, whether it was a road trip to the Wisconsin Dells or a magical week at Disney World. Those experiences showed me the power of travel to create lifelong memories, and now I help families, couples, and groups craft those same unforgettable moments.

Even in high school, my decisions were guided by travel, joining marching band so I could visit New York and Hawaii and seeking opportunities in college that would allow me to see the world. I participated in the National Student Exchange program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which gave me a chance to experience life in a new region and further explore my love of travel. Today, my passion has evolved into designing unique, luxury experiences in tropical paradises like Hawaii, the Caribbean, and French Polynesia, as well as adventurous yet relaxing escapes to Australia and New Zealand. I also specialize in luxury cruising, ocean, river, and expedition, and can help plan dream trips throughout Europe, from iconic cities to hidden gems, offering immersive and unforgettable experiences.

As a business owner, wife, and mom to two young boys, I understand how important it is to plan thoughtfully. I know what it’s like for busy families to want to travel but feel overwhelmed, and I now bring the perspective of traveling with children to help families make the most of their time together while exploring the world safely, seamlessly, and joyfully.

In 2024, I was honored to receive the Next Generation Award from Gifted Travel Network, recognizing my dedication to excellence in luxury travel planning. I love turning my passion for travel into meaningful, personalized experiences for my clients, from romantic escapes and multi-generational adventures to luxury group retreats.
