Something good that has been waited for is the meaning of Janelle Ruhumuliza’s last name. With origin from Rwanda this has become her life’s mantra.

Her love for travel started early with trips to Spain and the Dominican Republic while in high-school. This fueled her love for travel and inspired her study abroad year in Argentina where she was able to explore world wonders like Iguazu Falls, Machu Picchu and Patagonia. She then finished her Bachelors at San Diego State University with a degree in Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies. After college she became a devoted hotelier for 11 years where she worked at luxury hotels like the US Grant, La Valencia Hotel and Monarch Beach Resort.

She’s passionate about Africa, Argentina and Mexico! She is a true foodie and enjoys a nice California Cabernet Sauvignon or Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.
