Maya George is a tourism and travel industry executive with over 11 years of experience, whose goal is to change the face of travel.

As a first generation American and Brooklyn native to Guyanese immigrants, Maya started her journey of discovery at the age of four, first traveling “home” to Guyana. Eighteen countries across four continents later, Maya is recognized as a change agent for diversity and inclusion in the travel industry.

Travel is an opportunity to not only grow, but one to learn and discover yourself. Maya started Our Black Passports LLC in 2019 with the specific intent to help others learn through travel and disrupt the narrative of Black travel.
