My Background

I was born across the street from where I now live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan but I was raised in Scranton PA and Miami FL. I have been in the travel industry for over 35 years and have have traveled my whole life, beginning at age 7 when I flew for the first time in 1954 on Eastern Airlines to New York. I have traveled to more than 60 countries and have personally taken at least 20 cruises to all 7 continents. My life experience as well as extensive personal travel afford me the opportunity to plan the perfect vacation. I have both a B.A. in Psychology and an MBA in Business Administration. I pride myself in my organizational skills and my follow through until every aspect of a trip is anticipated and dealt with. As a travel advisor, I recently had the opportunity to embark on a 21-day expedition voyage to the Falkland Islands and Antarctica with Seabourn Venture. The journey was truly breathtaking and unforgettable.

The Falkland Islands offered a unique and unspoiled landscape, with an abundance of wildlife including penguins, seals, and numerous bird species nesting. The highlight of the trip, however, was the time spent in Antarctica. The ship navigated through breathtakingly beautiful ice-filled waters, and we were treated to sightings of whales, more penguins, seals and a variety of marine life which we observed from onboard the ship but also from zodiac landings on shore..

The Seabourn Venture was the perfect vessel for this voyage, with its ice-strengthened hull and experienced crew and expedition team, we felt safe and well-cared for throughout the trip. The ship also featured comfortable accommodations, delicious dining options, and a variety of onboard activities to keep us entertained and briefed on the surroundings we had just seen and would see in the coming days.

Overall, this expedition voyage was an experience of a lifetime and I would highly recommend it to any nature and adventure lover. If you're looking for a truly unique and unforgettable travel experience, this is it.
