Laura Scott grew up in Louisiana, where an appreciation for good food and fun is a given. But it wasn't until her career began with a global firm in her 20s that her eyes were truly opened to world around her. It was fascinating.

She met diverse people from every corner of the earth and traveled often. She frequented London, New York City, Rio de Janeiro, and Paris, amongst others.

The cultural basics are the same - love of family, celebration of life, and support for each other when needed most.

Laura has now lived in Texas for over 20 years and transitioned from spreadsheets and computer screens to travel. But the analytical and problem-solving skills do still come in handy. Laura strives for the pretty and simple way to plan a trip and be open to the spontaneous encounter.

She believes in hard work and big rewards, and ALWAYS having a trip on the calendar to look forward to. Her curiosity has led her to study wine with all of the history, language, geography, and science in one. The Somm documentaries are a favorite.

Laura enjoys planning culinary trips to wine regions (Sonoma, Burgundy) as well as family travel to explore and learn about the world. San Sebastian is next on her bucket list. Where is next on yours?
