The joy of travel found me in childhood, perusing maps and National Geographic and hearing about my father’s adventures on all seven continents. In college, a study-abroad program in the Netherlands was transformative, igniting a love for exploration and planning that’s burned bright to this day. In my previous career as an international bank executive, I had the good fortune to travel extensively, especially to Europe, Asia and Africa.
