My Background

The travel bug bit me in the Fall of 1998 when I sailed around the world on Semester at Sea. After college I lived and worked in Los Angeles and by 2020 had traveled to 60 countries.

While amassing many experiences traveling in those twenty years people would often say, "can you help me plan a trip? You've been everywhere."

Even though I had “the best” travel credit cards and about a billion frequent flier miles between us … still never got upgrades, perks, or service worth writing home about when we traveled.
