For the last 28 years, I have had the privilege of working in the travel industry. In the 1990's, I lived on the west coast of Florida, and was the co-owner of Clearwater Cruises and Park Place Travel. During the boom of the cruise industry, I worked alongside a dynamic group of people and appreciated significant growth and success. Over the years I have enjoyed more than 100+ cruise experiences, from small luxury barges with only 12 passengers to mega ships that resembled floating resorts - and I loved them all! I've had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout North American, Europe and the Caribbean, creating and hosting special interest groups focused on cultural immersion. I returned to Canada to raise my family in 2000, and held positions in the sales, business development, product development and industry relations. My passion is creating opportunities to enjoy meaningful travel experiences and cultural connections. I believe the greatest currency we have to spend is our time - and we must make the most of each opportunity.
