My passion for travel, and providing outstanding customer service while finding unique and memorable adventures for my clients fuels my work as a Certified Travel Counselor and owner of Mallard Travel.

Before Mallard Travel, I enjoyed a 35-year career in Canadian Radio across three provinces. My radio career provided many rewarding personal and professional experiences, including extensive travel across the Caribbean with the world-renowned Sandals & Beaches brands and giving away more than 200 vacations to radio winners for destinations across the Caribbean and Europe.

As a Certified Travel Counselor, I help busy people plan memorable vacations including River and Ocean Cruising, fully customized itineraries, unique tours, all inclusive vacations and more.

Lydia and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary while touring Cambodia and Vietnam and we are the proud parents of 22 year-old Owen. Our travel adventures have also included Ireland, Thailand, Hungary, Germany, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Holland, Belgium, and across the Caribbean & Mexico. Owen and I have an annual getaway called Son & Sun that has taken us from a Balkan Discovery Cruise from Budapest to Bucharest to the stunning Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort. Other fantastic adventures included Nashville, The Blue Ridge Mountains, Montego Bay and Negril, Jamaica. Among my travel highlights was Amazing Thailand, with memorable stops in Bangkok, Hua Hin, Phuket, and Chiang Mai. My AmaWaterways River Cruise through Cambodia and Vietnam plus the Netherlands and Belgium are adventures I highly recommend.
